English and Maths tutors wanted in Bradford Teaching Personnel are hiring graduates to earn £25-£35 an hour tutoring online and face to face.

This school is a larger-than-average sized mainstream secondary school in Bradford. Behaviour is good, teaching and learning is good, and teachers enjoy working there. Staff at this school are extremely supportive and are excited to work alongside the successfullyappointed tutor.

To join us and be successful in this role as Maths Tutor you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent maths teaching qualification or have a mathematics degree PLUS relevant maths tutoring experience
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Completion of three tuition specific modules on 'The Tutoring Role', Face to Face Tuition, and 'Remote Tutoring', as well as Safeguarding Training and Prevent Duty Training

The role of a tutor through Teaching Personnel:

  • Plan and execute quality sessions based around the national curriculum
  • Write and upload weekly progress reports so schools can check student progress
  • Show strong intervention skills and behaviour management
  • Respond to students needs and help them gain the knowledge to meet their targets.
