Are you looking for the next step in your HR career and enjoy providing a great customer service experience?

We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our People Hub team

You will work as part of a team and respond to first line HR queries.

You will provide HR advice in issues such as disciplinary, conduct, capability, payroll, recruitment, learning and development, health and safety, organisational change and employee relations matters.


In this fast paced, customer facing role, you will be able to deepen your HR knowledge and be involved with some exciting projects.

This is a hybrid role with 4 days per week from our Stockton on Tees office.


What you'll be doing:


  • Be the first point of contact for the customer base into the HR Service Centre
  • Record all queries in the HR Case Management system.
  • Provide support and advice to line managers on all HR related policies and procedures including discipline, absence management, probationary periods, underperformance and flexible working requests.
  • Identification and escalation of complex enquiries to the relevant Specialist areas, as per defined procedures.
  • Have input to and be proactive with ideas of ways in which the Customer Service Team can contribute to continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:


  • Experience in a HR role
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Customer focused and a confident communicator

It would be great if you had:

  • CIPD Level
  • Experience in a high volume customer service/administration role
