RMS Are working with an outstanding automotive client; we are looking for 2x Team Leaders to join our existing team.

Providing vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch and transportation facilities for our client CAT UK we want you to help us continue delivering our best service.


CAT UK Services is a leading provider of finished vehicle services in the UK for new, used and commercial vehicles.

Due to recent business growth in corby we have several new vacancies.


We have a position available for a Team Leader based at Rockingham Logistic Hub in Corby for an immediate start.


Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Inbound / Outbound Compound Manager, you will be required to ensure all vehicle movements within the site are carried out correctly and as efficiently as possible.

Salary and Benefits

  • This is a Permenant Fulltime Contract.
  • 37.5 hours per week paid at £14.00per hour

Key Responsibilities include:


  • To support the Inbound / Outbound Manager to ensure all duties are carried out promptly, correctly and effectively.
  • To be the point of contact in the absence of the Inbound / Outbound Manager.
  • To direct, support and motivate the team to enhance performance.
  • To support the Inbound / Outbound Manager in assessing workflows and the utilisation of staff to maximise efficiencies.
  • To ensure all vehicles are located correctly and to ensure all movements are carried out in line with company procedures.
  • To ensure a Transit check is carried out on arrival to the site and all damage responsibility is covered.
  • To pull vehicles into loads for despatch as required.
  • To ensure the correct vehicles are pulled and moved as required within the site.
  • To ensure the correct vehicles are ready for dispatch, within a timely manner.
  • To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • To ensure daily storage and maintenance checks are carried out in line with site procedures.
  • Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.

Hours of work:
Rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm. Monday-Friday

*Flexibility is key, shift times can vary depending on workloads and will include some weekend work.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £14.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Corby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
