As Procurement Business Partner at ISS, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Capital Projects Team with one of our esteemed clients working across the UK.


Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with project leadership, identifying and executing strategies to enhance efficiency, value for money, quality, and compliance across all capital projects.

As Procurement Business Partner, you will be instrumental in implementing high-performance standards and ensuring the use of appropriate processes for planned preventative, reactive, and project works


By leveraging your expertise in procurement, you'll contribute to the success of capital projects by optimising resource allocation, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong supplier relationships.


Your proactive approach will drive continuous improvement and align procurement practices with organisational goals, ultimately delivering impactful results for the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities across the account to drive improved efficiency, quality, innovation and customer service and work closely with the account team to implement
  • Work closely with Capital Projects team to ensure" value for money" for project procurements
  • Assist the Projects Team to select appropriate skilled Tier 2 & Tier 3 Supply chain partners to conduct our propjet delivery
  • Coordinate a supplier rotation board to ensure supplier entities are not overwhelmed and fail to deliver
  • Lead the successful mobilisation of new suppliers into the account, ensuring all compliance, assurance requirements and necessary flow downs are met and the solution meets the Client's requirement
  • Provide ongoing development, benchmarking and improvement for Procurement function on the contract
  • Act as the link between the account team and Procurement to ensure strategies and objective remain aligned

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Extensive and proven experience in Procurement typically 5+ years
  • Experience of supporting Capital Project works, with a high level of technical understanding construction methods, technology and standard forms of measurement
  • Ability to read, understand, interpret and analyse a project programme; experience within construction industry is preferred
  • Degree educational background preferred
  • Professional certification CIPS and/or MBA are highly desirable
  • Strong business acumen, with strong knowledge of P2P business models and sourcing approaches or techniques necessary to achieve best in class
