BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST - YORK / HYBRID WORKING
We are exclusively recruiting for a Business Development Specialist to join our clients growing team in York.

Our client is a very well-established business within the telecoms industry, and they have recently had big investment to continue their path ofsuccess.


This role will be a fantastic opportunity for a proactive salesperson to join a very lucrative market and to be supported by a manager who has extensive experience in their field, and they want every success for this person.

If you thoroughly enjoy identifyingand developing new business through multi-channel sales, then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for


WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW:


  • The basic salary is dependent on experience however as a guide, the basic on offer is around £25k to £35k

Uncapped commission with very realistic earning potential

  • Monday to Friday working hours and a 37.5hour week (flexible hours)
  • Hybrid working model which is usually 2 days working from home

A SNAPSHOT OF THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST'S DAY:

  • Working to sales targets based on customer acquisition, contracts, and revenues
  • Negotiating terms of business with new clients ensuring the best possible terms agreed
  • Leading in driving channel development in target accounts
  • Increase the spend of customers by understanding their business strategies
  • Always keeping up to date with competitors and industry news
  • Ensuring all administrative duties are complete including updating the CRM system, sending out follow ups to potential clients and regularly contacting new contacts
  • Working with the marketing team to create effective and engaging campaigns
  • And much more

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR APPLICATION:

  • An experienced salesperson with a resilient and hungry working attitude to achieving and exceeding targets
  • Be keen to earn more commission through successful sales and contracts
  • Confident in making high volume outbound calls
  • Eager to learn every aspect of the business to be able to pitch confidently
  • Able to negotiate with key decision makers confidently
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ability to work at pace
  • Able to work with other areas of the business.
