Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with a well-known real estate/retail investment and development company on their recruitment of a Property Management Accountant.


This role will be responsible for maintaining an analysing company accounting records, preparing budgeting and forecasting information and preparing financial reports to senior managements whilst acting as main interface between local managers and the financeteam.

This Property Management Accountant role requires a
fully qualified Accountant who is experienced with management reporting and business partnering.

Summary of day-to-day Responsibilities:


  • Maintain financial records for the relevant companies ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate accounting policies including accounts reconciliations and preparation of monthly SOX documentation
  • Prepare monthly reporting for management and quarterly reporting for management and investors, including reports on lease status, rental income etc
  • Prepare budgets and forecast documentation including capex & cashflow forecast, analysis and presentation
  • Draft annual financial statements as per local GAAP including allocating trial balance accounts to correct balance sheets and income statement positions
  • Prepare require reporting for relevant banks, VAT returns and tax reporting whilst liaising with auditors
  • Actively participate in centre management decision making through provision of financial analysis through use of strong commercial understanding of books and business
  • Create timely and accurate invoices for rent and service/marketing charges.
  • Provide financial reporting and respond to adhoc requests from centre owners

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience (3-5 years) as per local country practices:


  • Proven experience in Accounting and Management reporting:

Ideally have real estate or property investment or retail investment experience:

  • Excellent communication skills written & verbal
  • Experience in industry or commerce rather than practice
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • MS Office skills: Intermediate Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Advanced / expert Excel
  • ERP experience desirable.
