Description

Our client school is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Citizenship Teacher to join their team at a very accomplished Pupil Referral Unit based in Hackney.

As a mixed provision for primary aged students through to Year 11 of secondary school, weare dedicated to helping our learners overcome their barriers to learning and equipping them with the skills to succeed.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver highquality Citizenship lessons to students across all key stages, with a particular focus on Key Stage
Assess and monitor the progress of learners, setting individual targets and providing independent advice and guidance to help plan their education after Year 1
Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure that the learning needs of each student are met.
Create and maintain a positive learning environment that promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion.
Participate in professional development opportunities and engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience teaching Citizenship to students across all key stages, including GCSE Citizenship.
Experience working with students who are at risk of failure, with a focus on overcoming barriers to learning.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Strong commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
