Fabricator Welder Salary £14.79 per hour £28,840 + overtime at 1.5 working a 37.5 hour week, pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, parking, life assurance, permanent role.

An opportunity to join a friendly and established Aerospace engineering company who are recruiting for a fabricator, welder, tig and mig welder for their Yate based operation.

The role will be part a small team reporting to the workshop supervisor.

Key tasks for the fabricator, welder, tig welderWorking in a workshop in a small and friendly team environment producing equipment used in the aerospace industry.

Some occasional site work may be required from time to time.

The fabricator, welder, tig welder must be competent with MIG and TIG Welding, fabrication and metal work including Steel and stainless steel.

The ability to fabricate structures to tight tolerances, square up and weld various geometries of components.

The role would suit a coded or previously coded welder
Able to read engineering drawings and various weld form symbols on customer drawings and understand size of fillet forms.
Knowledge of associated workshop machinery, tools, knowledge of BS EN9606 would be ideal

The role will involve working on equipment and machinery that is built to order for a range of clients in the Aerospace and engineering industry
Experience & Qualifications

The role would suit an apprentice trained, City and Guilds or NVQ or equivalent qualified or time served person
Would suit someone able to demonstrate a work history in fabricating and welding to a coded level.
Tig & Mig welding of steel and stainless steel.
Able to use a variety of measuring equipment

The successful fabricator, welder, tig welder will be part of the organisation which is based in Yate, South Gloucestershire, offering the opportunity to be integral to the team.
