Do you have a genuine passion for improving the lives of others, with previous supervisory experience within Health and Social Care? If so, a career with Lidder Care could be what you have been looking for. We are looking for a passionate Team Leader to join our team at Newgate Lodge Care Home._

Newgate Lodge Care Home is a purpose built residential home located near Mansfield Town Centre, within close proximity to the picturesque settings of Sherwood Forest and Newstead Abbey.

It is registered to provide Residential and Dementia care for 60 older persons and has been awarded the Dementia Quality Mark, with a 'GOOD' CQC rating within all 5 key inspection areas.

Newgate is a great place to work, with various different facilities to facilitate a homely environment for all residents.

There are 4 dining rooms and conservatory lounges, an enclosed attractive garden courtyard with a fountain, separate sensory/tactile garden area for dementia clients, hair dressing salon with visiting hair stylist and much more.

There is even a visiting pat dog for animal therapy.

Who are we looking for?

Level 2 in Health and Social Care (essential) or currently working toward/obtained Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable)
Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills
Experience within a supervisory position
Medication qualification, such as safe handling of medication
A willingness to learn and develop new skills
A positive attitude and cando mentality
Empathy, patience and caring personalities
Previous experience with Dementia and Mental Health (desirable)

This position will be based on a shift pattern, working 8am-8pm on a rota
