Primary School located within the Harrow Borough

Monday to Friday position

Reed Education are recruiting for a Year 1 teacher to join a faith school based in Harrow, North West London.

Rated 'Good' by Ofsted, this faith school caters for pupils aged 3 to 11 years and has newly built facilities including a temple for worship.

Theschool also features grass play areas, an amphitheatre and an orchid garden.

The appointed teacher will need to be flexible and adaptable and be confident in all areas of teaching across KS2.


About the Role:


  • Year 1 teacher
  • Fulltime position teaching KS1 / Year
  • Longterm contract starting in January 2023 until the end of the academic year with the vision of being made permanent for the new academic year

In order to be considered for the Year 1 role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree such as TRN or QTS or QTLS
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • Strong ICT Skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroombased references and valid DBS/police checks
  • Ideally having worked within a UK Primary School for at least 6 months
