Infrastructure Analyst

Warwick or Preston (Hybrid)

We are seeking 2 Infrastructure Analysts to join an IT Team.

Reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the main purpose of this role is to deliver infrastructure services across the business through a mix of on premise and hosted/cloud solutionsand working on project delivery and service transition.

Working within the UK Infrastructure team to provide support, monitoring and management of a range of infrastructure technologies

Infrastructure Analyst - What you get to do

Work with the Infrastructure Manager to deliver the Infrastructure Roadmap.
Manage and administration of technologies including Windows Server, virtualization, storage, security, and networking
Backup management
Managing support tickets alongside project work
Working with external partners across managed services

Skills and qualifications helpful for the role of the Infrastructure Analyst

Experience of working with hypervisors, eg Hyper-V / VMWare
Experience of administration in Windows Server, Active Directory, and associated roles
Experience and knowledge of working within Azure and cloud/hybrid environments
Evidence of networking experience, and an understanding of networking infrastructure
Due to the role being heavily focused on technology delivery as well as ongoing administration/maintenance, the role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with a variety of stakeholders across solution delivery.
