  • We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Supply Chain professional to join our team as a Buyer on a 2 year fixed term contract. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring continuity of supply for the EMEA market.
  • This position is part of the European Traded Goods and will be located in Portsmouth.
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Determine efficient finished goods inventory level to achieve OTD (On Time Delivery) target across European for assigned market.
  • Ensure accuracy of Supply Chain related system parameter.
  • Manage intercompany freight activities to achieve financial targets.
  • Recommend and implement inventory management strategies.
  • Prepare planning related reports and recommend actions to drive improvement.
  • The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Solid experience in Supply Chain
  • CIPS Foundation
  • SAP experience
  • Intermediate excel skills, Pivot table and VLOOKUP's are widely used
  • In depth knowledge of analytics tools
  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Demand planning
  • Demand entry to customer delivery
