Description

Oversight of the Payroll & Compensation and Accounts Payable Function for EMEA. Working across Finance and HR to establish a center of excellence for the payment and reporting of all matters.

Financial Services company with large client portfolio across banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.

Description

Lead and manage the Belfast Finance team providing direction, advice and guidance
Oversight of the Payroll & Compensation team for all of EMEA. Working across Finance and HR to establish a center of excellence for the payment and reporting of all matters pertaining to compensation.
Oversight of the Accounts Payable Function for EMEA, taking a leadership role in managing relationships to ensure suppliers are paid within payment terms
Deliver process improvements and continuously drive change across the Belfast Finance team.
Maintain adequate controls and governance across all processes
Prepare relevant materials for presentation to the EMEA Board and functional heads
Maintain appropriate Payroll and AP KPI's & reporting to stakeholders

Profile

Experience of managing an internal, large and complex finance operations department;
Ideally to include managing Payroll and Accounts Payable teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word with advanced Excel skills
Degree or equivalent industry experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Data accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work with & manipulate large datasets
Ability to react to changing requirements and adjust processes and approach
Right to live and work in the UK
