HR Assistant:
£24,000 - depending on experience, plus CIPD Level 3 Study Support.

In the role of
HR Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Team by providing crucial administrative support.

You will be a generalist, with the exposure and opportunity to learn and develop in all aspects of HR, whilst being coached and supported on a daily basis by the HR Manager and People Director.


The HR Assistant Role Overview

:


  • Maintain the integrity and quality of HR data ensuring accurate data entry into HR systems at all times and maintenance of documents.
  • Deal effectively and efficiently with enquiries to deliver a positive customer experience, in relation to the recruitment and onboarding processes and full employee lifecycle.
  • Coordinating the processes for reference responses, long service awards, absence management and probation period triggers and issuing the appropriate administration and correspondence.
  • Assist in the collation of payroll information, preparing reports on salary changes, absences, bonuses, new employees and leavers.
  • Coordinating training internally and externally, ensuring expiration dates are accurately recorded and relevant cards remain active.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic onboarding process, being the goto person for correspondence and timely, accurate documentation.

Your Experience for the HR Assistant Role

:


  • A minimum of one year experience within an HR Function
  • Experience in payroll administration and processing would be advantageous.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and selforganise your working day.
  • Experience working efficiently using Excel and Outlook
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and employment laws.
