Due to continued business growth and expansion we are looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator for this award winning, Harrogate based business.

As Fleet Administrator you will work alongside this friendly HR and Admin team.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the company fleet of vehicles adhere to legal requirements, are safe and fit for purpose.

You will lead projects within the fleet department to ensure continual improvement on processes and policies and expand the fleet in line with company policies.


Responsibilities:

Management of company fleet vehicles
Manage fleet budget and report monthly and annually figures
Deal with price negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness
Set up supplier accounts, check incoming invoices and code accurately
First point of contact for fleet enquiries
Maintaining accurate and up to date records on all vehicles
Organising and booking MOTs, services and repairs, logging and updating records for each vehicle
Providing driving license and vehicle checks regularly
Processing road tax and congestion charges
Arranging hire vehicles where necessary
Managing fleet compliance
Provide first line support to drivers, recording any issues, accidents and reporting appropriately
Managing and maintaining insurance records, reporting claims where necessary
Ensuring fleet management system is accurate and up to date and all necessary reporting to HMRC is done in a timely manner
Managing tracking system installation throughout the fleet
Approve and report private mileage records to finance department


We're looking for someone who is highly driven and self-motivated, someone who is a good communicator with excellent administration skills.

You will have good working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel. Previous experience in fleet management or project management would be an advantage but not essential. This Fleet Administrator role would suit someone who has worked in administration in transport, logistics, or HR.
