Bristol City Council are recruiting for a Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) Accreditation Lead to join their Housing Management and Estates team.

You will lead Bristol City Council's work towards achieving Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) accreditation.


We are looking for a passionate individual with project management experience, who can engage key stakeholders and influence positive systemic change for victim-survivors of domestic abuse.

You will work closely with colleagues to review and develop domestic abuse policies and procedures. They should also be able to use initiative, work independently and manage a multi-faceted workload.


We envisage that Bristol City Council's approach to domestic abuse in their housing services will go on to inspire other housing providers in the city and beyond.

The work of the DAHA Accreditation Lead will contribute to Bristol's One City goal:
All housing associations have Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) accreditation to combat domestic violence.

This is a full-time fixed term position (2 years). It can be taken as an internal 2 year secondment.


The role is based at our 100 Temple Street office (BS1 6AG), with the option to partly work from home.

How do I apply?

For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.

For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.

If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
