Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sociology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in either a Primary or SEN school.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the educational and developmental needs of our students.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Conducting small group activities
  • Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing onetoone support to students who require additional assistance

Requirements:


  • A degree in Sociology or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other teaching assistants
  • Experience working with children, either in a volunteer or professional capacity
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • An understanding of special educational needs and the strategies used to support them
