An experienced Payroll Administrator is needed to join an established and supportive team based within our Head Office in Nottingham.
Description
The role includes a variety of duties which will include:
- Reporting into the Payroll Manager
- Processing 4 weekly/ weekly and monthly payrolls, some with tight turnarounds from start to end and dealing with statutory calculations including Tax, NI, SSP, SMP, SMP etc.
- Being the named contact with branches for payroll queries and responding in a timely manner, dealing with out of payroll payment requests and recovery and producing a suite of payroll reports
- Uploading data from our rostering systems, running BACS reports and preparing payment files
- Managing starters and leavers, ensuring P45's are issued and tax codes updated to facilitate first and last payments
- Managing monthly HMRC tax filings and payments, including third party payments for AEO deductions.
Key requirements:
- Experience of different payroll systems
- Experience of dealing with payrolls
- Excel
- VLOOKUP. PIVOT and Microsoft experience
- Experience working in a similar working environment is essential, with the ability to prioritise a large busy and varied work load. A good team player with a confident attitude.
