Package Description
We are seeking to appoint an after school care support worker to join our enthusiastic and committed team.

Applicants for this position must be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council at support worker level or be registered with the General Teaching Council of Scotland.

Working hours in term time
Monday-Wednesday; 2.30pm-4.30pm

Thursday and Friday; 2.30pm-5.30pm

Job description

After School Care Duties

To prepare the dining room for the after school care session and to clear away at the end of session
To register those girls in attendance
To contribute to the planning, preparation and execution of activities
To create a happy purposeful atmosphere for the pupils
To ensure the health and safety of the pupils
To encourage good selfdiscipline among the pupils, and to ensure a good standard of behaviour
To prepare snack for the pupils
To notify a member of the senior leadership team if the girls have not been collected
To remain with any girl until she has been collected
To communicate with parents and members of the teaching and support staff as required
To inform the relevant person if repairs or maintenance are required
To attend staff meetings as and when required
To attend inservice training as and when required
