We are looking for an Inventory and Purchasing Supervisor for our client based near the M40 in Banbury.

Main duties in the role -:

Review of stock levels by agency and item on a structured monthly basis to formulate orders to be placed with suppliers
Ensuring Purchase orders are duly authorised in advance of placing orders with suppliers
Liaison with suppliers in relation to receipt of order confirmation from suppliers and any stock supply and delivery lead times
Filing of fulfilled purchase orders, order confirmations and communications with suppliers and internal staff in relation to orders placed with suppliers
Active management and monitoring of supplier backorders on a daily basis to ensure same are received as promptly as possible
Monitoring stock levels by line of a daily, weekly and monthly basis to minimise the risks of stock outs on any stock lines
Returns to suppliers
Liaison with suppliers in relation to product for returns to suppliers
Stock file maintenance ensuring stock accuracy of stock item setups for all stock lines on the inventory management system

Skills and experience required -:

Data management experience
Inventory control or purchasing, preferably in a healthcare setting
Microsoft Office Excel advanced level required
Knowledge of inventory control principles and methods
Ability to communicate at a high level

**This is a full time / permanent role and comes with a salary of 32k DOE
