First Achieve Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Based Cable Jointer in Aberdeen region.

You will be working with a global oil & gas manufacturer, who specialise in offering solutions to the oil and gas, energy, and offshore industries.

Purpose of the job
To perform the following activities in the field and provide assistance to our workshop teams as required

Main tasks and responsibilities

Inspections and repairs to Electromechanical Equipment
Strip, Inspect and rebuild Electromechanical equipment
Electrical Electromechanical Surveys of customer work scopes
HV Cable Terminations including inspection and installations
Inspection of Hazardous Area equipment and apparatus
Repairs of Hazardous Area equipment and apparatus
HV and LV Cable repairs
HV and LV Cable Jointing
To create technical field reports and data files during and on completion of assignment. inclusive of daily logs and final report.
