We are very excited to be able to offer a full time permanent Band 3 Administration Officer role within The Children and Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service.

This specialist eating disorder service supports young people and their families in the community to manage their condition and prevent hospital admission.

CEDS provide family based therapy in a range of settings as well as specialist clinical assessment and in-reach to paediatric and acute mental health settings.

This is a very busy service, and the role holder will carry out a number of varied tasks including being the point of contact for service users and
their carers, and so a professional friendly manner is vital. This role is part of a small team of administrators which supports the multi-disciplinary
clinical team and duties will include, answering the main telephone line into this service, monitoring of a generic inbox, typing letters, maintaining
an electronic patient record system (RiO), booking appointments for clinicians, as well as other general office duties. Experience in a similar role
would be an advantage and an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative skills within the NHS.
A high level of organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal, along good IT skills are required.
This is a full-time position; 37.5 hours per week, with the working pattern to be 9-5 Monday to Friday.

The post holder will be able to meet/demonstrate the following:
Demonstrate extensive experience of providing secretarial support to the clinical team.

Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and experience of establishing, managing and maintaining admin systems.

Organise own workload on a daily basis, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be self-motivated

Make arrangements for visits, meetings, conferences, etc., to ensure the smooth running of the clinician's diaries and to accommodate urgent problems

Confident and competent in administration tasks including experience of minute taking and audio typing skills.

Experience working with software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Patient Information Systems (e.g. RiO)

Demonstrate the Trust's Vision and Values in every aspect of their practice and actively build working relationships with others

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, dealing with patients, carers and professionals, in some cases where there are barriers to communication or understanding

Willingness to undertake relevant mandatory training

Take personal responsibility for making things happen
