About the role:
Working under the direction and guidance of the Head of Contracts the role will assist with the commercial and contractual management and administration of Social Housing Maintenance Contracts, ranging from minor reactive works through to large scale maintenance projects.
Key Activities / Responsibilities:
- Assist with coding and job costing of response maintenance task orders
- Support QS on providing contractual and cost advise to operational management and staff.
- Assisting in the procurement and cost management of Subcontractor packages.
- Involved in the preparation, costing and submission of documents in line with NEC contract requirements.
- Support QS to create detailed records of works are recorded and maintained, that are accurate and auditable and available for submission as required in a timely manner.
- Assist in surveys and costing of proposed works and remeasurement of completed works.
- Monitoring and management of internal KPIs ensuring all targets are achieved and maintained.
- Assist in the preparation of reports.
- Work in accordance with strict client KPI's particularly Time, Cost and Quality.
- Build strong client and supply chain relationships by working in a collaborative manner with good communication channels, ensuring resolutions, repeat business and service.
- Support in the preparation of tenders.
- Obtain quotes from supply chain, compile estimates for contract works
- Monitor and manage statutory approvals /certifications and contract compliance requirements for individual contracts
- Track contract compliance and correspondences, ensuring timelines are met
- Log and track team tasks and ensure actions are completed on time
- Monitor and report on progress against team KPIs and targets
- Undertake training and attend meetings as required for the proper performance of duties
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required from timetotime.
Education / Experience:
- Experience of administration in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT Skills
- Effective time and task management, meeting strict deadlines
- Experience of construction works
Skills/Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamworking and interpersonal skills
- Robust planning and organisation skills to manage own workload to strict deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a cross functional team to complete tasks under strict deadlines
- A selfmotivated individual with a logical approach to problem solving
- IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office
Job Types:

Salary:
£21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
