Reed Education Reading are currently working with an excellent school in Wokingham to recruit for Teaching Assistants, to start as soon as possible.

About the school:

Working with this school for several years, it is clear to see the development and new determination for school improvement under the new leadership. Teachers and support staff we have placed into this school recently have spoken about the high level ofsupport and teamwork within the staff team.
Having recently joined an award winning special educational needs academy trust, this school is currently thriving from new leadership.
The trust currently looks after four schools in three counties each with a clear purpose to make an enduring difference to students' lives.
This campus specialises in both Primary and Secondary aged children with a diagnosis of ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition).

Who are we looking for?

Due to the nature of this type of work, we are looking for strong and resilient Teaching Assistants who also have a calm and understanding nature.
Good behaviour management skills are required to be successful in this environment.
Although challenging, this is a very rewarding role for those wishing to give something back to young people who need positive interaction.
Experience working with autism would be beneficial, although we are looking for anyone with a good understanding and either professional or personal experience in the same or similar environments.
