Assistant Driver - Kingswinford, West Midlands
We are seeking an Assistant Driver, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a friendly Warehouse & Logistics team Are you reliable, professional and committed to providing an outstanding level of service? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you


What you'll do:


  • Assist our drivers with packing, loading, and unloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Deliver pallets/parcels and goods to customers on scheduled routes when our designated driver is not available.
  • Collaborate with other departments and be a helpful resource for our engineers / builders out in the field, keeping everyone updated on delays, potential issues, including delivery ETA's.
  • Ensure all products are secure during transit, checking the product is correct and all paperwork is accurate.
  • Assisting our drivers with daily vehicle checks and maintain a good understanding of road safety rules and regulations.
  • Work with your team and our Warehouse Manager to provide feedback and continually improve the standards of service we offer.

This role is permanent and employed with an immediate start available Occasional nights away might be required dependent on workload and location of deliveries.
