We are looking for a
Family Support Worker to join our Organisation in Milton Keynes.


We are looking for someone who has the same belief, ethos and values to match our Christian culture and who can help us to transform young people's lives by equipping them to reach their full potential.


Your main responsibility is to work with and support the Ethos team helping young people and their families through holistic approach and education.

You will supporting families with practical and emotional needs and help to plan and assess their needs

You must have experience with young people/families / similar support role

Location Milton Keynes - office based role

Full driving licence needed as some travel will be required


Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Ethos team
  • Impact young people and their families
  • Work with families and support with their needs
  • Complete assessments
  • Undertake home and community visits
  • Attending meetings
  • Help with events / worshops
  • General administration duties
  • Provide pastoral care

Qualifications / Skillset

  • Relevant qualifications and experience to working with young people
  • Experience in a similar support work
  • Must have Christian values/ ethos
  • Organised
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT Literate
  • Confident
  • Show empathy

Salary / Benefits

  • Salary up to £22,500
  • 37.5 hours
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
