Description

Are you an experienced Buyer in manufacturing/engineering environments? Do you enjoy getting involved with operational and strategic procurement?

A business in Leicester is on the lookout for a Senior Buyer to join their Procurement Team. You'll be supporting all key stakeholders by ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

This role will mainly be office based, with the occasional flex when necessary.

Your responsibilities will include:

Negotiate prices and contracts for chosen commodities
Ensure accurate data on MRP system
Build strong relationships with suppliers
Liaise with various internal departments, namely engineering

Exceptional communication/relationship building skills will be pivotal. You'll also need to have an analytical mindset.

If you're an experienced Senior Buyer with a background in electronic manufacturing/engineering, you could be a perfect fit.
