Job description- The postholder will undertake research and provide research supervision and leadership, and research-based graduate teaching, in line with the Mitchell Institute's research, educational and societally-facing work, in the field of Women, Peace, Security and Justice.- A PhD in any discipline, with clear relevance for women, peace, security and justice;

  • A sustained record of research publications of the highest international quality and with the most prestigious publishers/journals;
  • A distinguished research reputation, as evidenced by indicators such as the winning of researchrelated prizes, and election to the Fellowship of National Academies (eg the British Academy, the Royal Irish Academy);
  • A sustained record of successful PhD supervision;
  • A sustained record of securing external research funding as appropriate to field and discipline;
  • Experience of successful and sustained teaching at PGT level; and
  • Evidence of capacity and willingness to contribute to the creation and successful sustenance of highquality, interdisciplinary networks (locally, nationally, internationally).
