Avanti West Coast are currently looking for a Traincrew Resource Planner within our People Planning team.

The post is a vital player within Avanti West Coast and key responsibilities of the role include:

Produce effective and efficient rosters, to timescale, so that staffing levels meet business needs and are in accordance with all applicable safety standards, legislation and company standards, policies and procedures.
Ensure that communication with our frontline staff and depot teams is in a clear, professional and polite manner.
Maintain a strong close working relationship with the Customer Service teams, Planning team & Resource Operations team.
Develop and adopt suitable measures to continuously improve the Customer Experience, performance and reduce costs and support the other areas of the business in initiatives to do likewise.
Ensure that all relevant information regarding the resourcing of West Coast services is consistently recorded in the daily log in accordance with company policies.
Liaise effectively and appropriately with managers at all levels, diagramming team and staff at Crewe Training Centre.

What type of experience are we looking for?

Rostering packages (Crewplan & Genius)
Experience in Resourcing frontline rail staff
Broad knowledge of Frontline terms & conditions, railway systems & geography
