The holder of this post will be expected to take on the role of the Fetal Monitoring Lead for the unit, supporting the service in meeting Ockenden recommendations.
We also expect the appointee to participate in MDT training and have experience in managing women with complex medical conditions, in line with our status as a regional Maternal Medicine Network Hub for the Eastern region.
There is opportunity for applicants to develop areas specific to their obstetric area of interest. We have specialist MDT clinics in Diabetes, Cardiology, Endocrine, Epilepsy, Haematology, and Renal disease.
We also have specialist antenatal clinics for perinatal mental health and pre-term labour as well as our specialist Fetal Medicine Service.
The appointee will be expected to participate in both undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and training within the Rosie Hospital as part of Cambridge University Hospitals.
