The RSC is looking for an experienced Senior Sound Technician with significant knowledge and understanding of sound, communications, and sound-related disciplines in a theatre environment.

This role is for our upcoming production of Julius Caesar.

This is a full-time, fixed term position based starting in Stratford Upon Avon and then touring the UK.

As a Senior Sound Technician, you will be reporting directly to the Tour Manager, where your responsibilities will include:

To support the daily sound requirements for Julius Caesar on tour
Attend to pre planning of shows and events in each venue or tour.
Support shows in the form of production sound and operation & radio mic prep
To assist scheduling within RSC guidelines of Holiday & WTD
To be proactive in forward planning of the department, it's staff & the smooth transfers.
To maintain equipment and, participate in fault finding, repair and maintenance of equipment.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with live music, in a cohesive team environment at the RSC.

Have proven excellent practical knowledge of sound in a theatre environment
Be familiar and confident with Digico SD T software

This opportunity is offered as a full time, fixed term contract, working an average hours contract of 48 hours per week, over 6 days, including evening and weekend work.

Interviews will take place week commencing 23 January 2023, with a start date of 20 March 2023.
