This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated team inspecting 3rd party plumbing systems to prevent the waste, misuse, erroneous measurement, undue consumption and contamination of the drinking water supply.


As the Regulator, you will play an essential part in helping the company to engage directly with the owner/occupiers of premises regarding poor plumbing practices whilst ensuring compliance with the Water Fittings Regulations are met.

Working as a plumbing inspector you will be responsible for overseeing work planned for you within a geographical area.

This will involve contacting 3rd party premises to arrange both proactive and reactive plumbing inspections to ensure their plumbing system(s) comply with the Regulations.

The types of premises you will inspect can vary day-to-day from Household to Non-household properties.


Being able to clearly communicate with people through effective verbal and written methods is essential as well as having the ability to accurately articulate and record information in a reliable, accurate and complete manner.

The role holder will be located in the
Derby/Nottingham regions.
