SEND Teaching Assistant - Ashton

Do you have experience working with a variety of Special Educational Needs? Are you a compassionate, empathetic Teaching Assistant with experience supporting across EYFS - KS2? If so, Tradewind are looking for you

We are recruiting for an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Ashton. You will be supporting two children on EHCPs and ensuring they are on track with their learning and development. This position is full-time starting September, and is on a contract until the end of the academic year. Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £80 - £90 per day.


Your duties might include:

Supporting and managing students across EYFS - KS2 with additional needs

Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care

Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

To be successful in the role of SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
A caring, patient and nurturing attitude

Have experience of supporting pupils with SEND

Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained

Have the legal right to work in the UK.
