_Our client, an independent Insurance Broker are seeking to appoint and experienced individual to join the team _

As a Senior Commercial Broker, you will be acting as an intermediary between your clients and insurance companies, with the aim to provide suitable solutions to meet their insurance needs whilst building trusting & long lasting relationships._

Responsibilities:

Speaking or meeting with new & existing clients to discuss their insurance needs
Visiting clients face to face (where required) either alone or with a colleague
Gathering information from your clients, assessing their insurance needs and risk profile
Ensuring you understand your clients requirements
Preparing reports for underwriters (or assisting colleagues with this)
Researching all the available policy options for the client (or assisting colleagues with this)
Negotiating with underwriters to obtain the most suitable insurance for your clients (or assisting colleagues with this)
Presenting policy details to the client
Ensuring that your clients understand the terms and the extent of the cover provided in line with industry regulations
Managing the annual insurance cycle, including policy renewals, amendments and midterm adjustments, looking ahead to foresee your clients' insurance needs
Assisting with marketing initiatives to attract new clients
Communication risk management initiatives to clients
Advising clients on when and how to make a claim on their policy whilst assisting throughout the process to settlement
