Science teacher required ASAP.

Tradewind are recruiting an experienced science teacher to start in January 2023 in Doncaster. This is a Long-term position and is on a full-time basis. There is also potential to continue into the new academic year.

You will be required to teach acrossKey Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a variety of mixed ability classes.

The successful science teacher will have a good knowledge of the biology, chemistry and physics national curriculum

Responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering quality lessons for biology, chemistry and physics.
Regularly setting assessments and assignments.
Reporting to senior leadership teams in regard to students' performance and wellbeing.
Liaising with parents and guardians.
Engaging in extracurricular programs when necessary.

As the science teacher you will be joining a highly established science department surrounded by an inclusive and supporting team of teachers who will help you transition into the role.

Upon visiting the department, Tradewind was impressed with the extentof the facilities available to the students. The school is located in the heart of Doncaster so is easily accessible by public transport. There is also a large onsite car park for those who drive.

What do you need to be considered for the role?

DBS on the update system or be willing to buy one.
Qualified teacher status.
Legal right to work in the UK.
Relevant experience teaching science.
