NORTH EAST BASED, WORKING FROM HOME
FULL TIME, PERMANENT
£25-£30K DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE

THE ROLE


The role of Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer is an important one to us as we continue on our journey to supply some of the best Tertiary courses across Scotland.

Each Recruitment Officer in the team takes responsibility for recruitment in specificareas in the U.K, in this case the area is the North East.

The role would require you to work autonomously, and also in collaboration with theMarketing, Digital and Communication team within the University group.

Applications for a full-time or part-time position will be considered.

This new role will join an existing team of Marketing and Student Recruitment Officers, one based in the north-west of England and one in Northern Ireland.

This role will cover the North-Eastof England region and will focus on attendance at local events in the area.

Aside from days you would be expected to attend networking and recruitment events, you will essentially be working from home and lone working with mínimal management input, so it'svery important that we recruit the right type of person who has a self-driving attitude.

Working hours can be amended and changed to suit your lifestyle needs and requirements, we focus on results that have been gained as opposed to following a rigid workingpattern or KPI's.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To engage with members of the public in the North EAST who express an interest in the courses we deliver, with the goal of them signing up to our available courses
  • Responsible for driving our brand and marketing across the North East area on social platforms such as Instagram and Linkedin
  • Advertising our courses across various online platforms
  • Working creatively to create, develop or source materials and resources to aid recruitment activity
  • Attending local recruitment events and career fairs in the area to engage with potential students (naturally mileage can be expensed in this instance)
  • To sell our courses and services to prospective students either in person at events, over the phone or on social media
  • To work in collaboration with the larger student recruitment team and bring ideas to the table in the best way of recruiting students to our organisation

Requirements for role

  • We require applicants to have experience in marketing whether that be a previous marketing specific role, or previous roles with marketing elements involved
  • A background in sales and Recruitment would be very desirable, however not mandatory
  • Experience working within an Education setting/Education sector knowledge in any capacity would be beneficial
  • We are wanting someone who is selfdriven, efficient and organised due to the lone working nature of the role
  • Someone that is a "people's person" and can get on well with a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good communication both verbal and written
