We are looking for a communications officer to join our team.

Working in the police communications team, you will be responsible for internal communications, sharing information from everything to changes in processes, urgent operational messages, new projects, news about jobs, promotions and staff support networks.

With new hybrid ways of working and the large physical distances between employees that come with policing a rural county, staying connected is vital and the need to communicate effectively with officers and staff has never been so important.

The successful applicant will be required to support the external communications team, handing media enquiries where necessary, and fulfil on-call duties in the evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

You must have the capability to travel to different locations in the county.
