An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our Patient Flow Co-ordinator team who work within the Emergency Department of Derriford Hospital Plymouth.

We are looking for enthusiastic applicants who are organised and can use their initiative whilst being flexible to frequently changing situations, to work alongside the Senior Nurse.

You will play a key role in the patient flow through the department to assist by co-ordinating admissions and discharges, ensuring TTO's and EDS's are complete and transport is arranged.

We are seeking to appoint a full time, permanent position and would require applicants to possess excellent communication skills towards a range of health professionals, both internal and external, to support safe and effective admission and discharge in relation to assisting in patient flow through the hospital.
