Our client, a leading car motor group are currently looking for a Dealership Accountant to join their business based out of their Blackburn dealership.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a reputable company that offers fantastic career progression.
This role offers a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 + Car (Fuel Allowance), along with flexible remote working.

The Dealership Accountant will report into the Group Financial Controller and will work closely with the General Manager/Head of Business to produce monthly management accounts.

You will line manage a small team and be responsible for their ongoing development.
About the role of Dealership Accountant

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Weekly cashflow forecasting
  • Annual and periodic budgeting
  • Payroll inputting/signoff
  • Regular accounts forecasting
  • Maintenance of dealership ledgers
  • Negotiation of any contracts/dealership costs
  • Streamlining of current processes/procedures

To be a successful Dealership Accountant you must:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Experience within the Automotive industry
  • Firsthand experience of planning, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Ability to deliver results in an accurate and timely manner
