_We are now looking for an Admissions Officer to join our busy team_


The Admissions Officer will facilitate the admissions function for a number of Navitas Colleges and University partners in the European division, working closely with university partners as well as the broader Admissions and Compliance teams.

The collegesand partners to which the role will be assigned will be flex based on where demand is seen and most support is needed.


Salary:
£23,000 - £26,000 per annum


Contract:6 month FTC


Admissions Officer Duties:


  • Applications are assessed accurately and in accordance with the latest admissions requirements
  • Agents, students and incountry teams are updated and kept abreast of developments at all times
  • Student interviews are carried out, recorded and communicated accurately
  • Sustainable and productive working relationships are developed with SCOs, University Partner and agents
  • Individual and team targets are achieved
  • Issue offers to prospective students, and/or refer and manage borderline cases to the Admissions Manager
  • Interview students as required
  • Handle on the ground complex student and agent enquiries
  • Develop excellent engagement with BUL with their admission and compliance teams
  • Contribute, as necessary, to problem solving issues raised by agents

Admissions Officer Requirements:


  • A-Levels or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of frontline customer relationship management
  • Administration or data processing experience
  • Proven ability as a 'team player'
  • Proven ability to organise own workload and to cope with a variety of task demands
  • Flexible attitude to work including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of student and administrative activities
  • Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups
  • Computer literacy skills inclusive of demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite
  • PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • File management and administrative skills
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles
  • Proactive work habits
  • Strong attention to detail particularly with regards to understanding policy and procedure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly data filtering and pivot table functions
  • Degree level study
  • Understanding of Higher Education industry sector
  • Experience of working in an international education setting
  • Frontline customer relationship management to multicultural client base
  • An effective knowledge of university and/or pathway admissions criteria and processes
  • An understanding of business practices in other cultures
  • Familiarity and understanding of the UK visa process
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ability to communicate in a language other than English
  • A conviction to providing the very best customer service
