Network Strategy & Engineering is central to delivery of VMO2 ambitions to improve customer connectivity with accountability for plan, design and build for all consumer and business customers including fixed network DOCSIS and FttP upgrades, 4G/5G mobile capacity and coverage expansion, and Network OSS and Automation transformation.
NSE's plan of highly complex delivery uses over 5k internal and external resources and involves a Budget of £1B and with that comes a large number of KPIs, OKRs and other critical success measures, many of which must be regularly provided with insight to stakeholders across VMO2, Telefonica and LG up to and including the VMO2 EC and Joint Venture Board.
You'll lead the derivation and communication of progress and performance insight across all areas of NSE from mobile to fixed, source and adapt data from the wider NSE group as required for use in a range of forums including EC, Shareholders, SLT, Government, MVNO C-level customers and other key Business customer meetings.
This role will also own the generation and dissemination of management information to NSE Leadership team to enable strategic decision-making.
You'll be responsible for defining and evolving the framework of KPIs and broader data governance across NSE, driving the best practice and digital first approach and enabling continuous assessment of NSE performance, whilst in tandem developing, owning and delivering the stakeholder engagement strategy and plan for stakeholders mentioned above.
The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Experience in the leadership and management of key reporting information for senior stakeholders up to CEO level; a keen focus on accuracy and relevance to the audience
- Previous experience in developing stakeholder strategies and employing appropriate stakeholder analysis techniques
- Ability to source data and information from various sources and weave together a story in presentation format based on facts that provides insight or information to inform key decisions
- The ability to understand the impacts of business performance on consumers
- Experience in significantly raising the maturity level of an organisation's reporting and insight capability from excel, nonmastered sources to a digitally led capability with high quality executive reports able to be provided regularly on demand
We'd also love you to bring;
- A record of people management in a technical environment, including strong communication skills. Ideally some awareness of fixed, mobile and telecoms infrastructure delivery and programme
- Excellent PowerPoint and storytelling skills. Able to create and lead the creation of relatable convincing visuals from datapoints and information that is presentable at CxO and Board Level
