Job Introduction

The Leisure and Culture team at Redditch Borough and Bromsgrove District Councils are on the look out for an energetic, flexible and well organised Programme Support Assistant to support our team's day to day sports, physical activity, arts, culture and heritage programmes.


Key Requirements -

Day to day coordination and management of the team's activities

Mangagement of diaries, scheduling of meetings and note taking

Collection and recording of data and assisting with the monitoring of budgets

Ordering and requisitions of good/supplies and services

Answering residents & staff enquires and providing technical support for the service as required.

Essential Skills & experience**:

Experience of minute taking, planning and organising meetings:


  • Good relationship building and communication skills:

Ability to regularly travel between Redditch and Bromsgrove:


  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team:

Experience of working in community settings:


  • Good IT, coordination, administrative and organisational skills
