MANCHESTER

We are working with a medium-sized Ground Investigation Consultancy who are looking for a talented Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their office in Manchester.

Overview
Our client specialise in ground related risk management and building fabric investigation.

Their wide range of services include expert consultancy on geotechnical and geo-environmental projects, support with soil waste management and building fabric matters.

You will be joining their Land Quality Team working alongside geotechnical, engineering and ground investigation specialists working across a broad range of industries and developments.

The position will be predominantly office based but a degree of fieldwork will be expected as part of the role, and the amount of fieldwork required would vary depending on type and scale of the projects.

As a guide, it is envisaged at least 80% of the role will be office-based.
Continued professional development, training, and mentoring is integral to their work.

You would be expected to work across the breadth of the four main land contamination specialities (health, waters, permanent gases, and vapours), and be supported to work towards chartership and relevant RSoBRA accreditations to support your areas of interest and specialities as they develop.


Requirements:


  • A relevant degree
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant industry background
  • A good understanding of land contamination risk assessment
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Problem solving ability
  • Being inquisitive with a desire to learn
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Full and clean driving licence

On offerSalary £25,000 - £35,000
