Operating POS tills and handling cash transactions- Assisting Customers in finding products and answering queries
- Stocking and replenishing shelves and displays
- Keeping the retail area clean and tidy
- Ensuring that stock levels are maintained
- Assisting with stock takes and inventory management
- Following safety regulations and standards
- Handling customer complaints and resolving them
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth operation
- Promoting and upselling products in line with NHS Guidelines
- Participating in meetings sharing ideas with the team

- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and approachable manner
- Take orders and accurately input into POS system
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including adhering to all infection control measures
- Keep track of inventory and report any shortages or expired items to management
- Handle cash, credit card and mobile payments and reconcile the cash register at the end of each shift
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient cafe operations as a team
- Maintain an excellent level of customer service, ensuring to deal with customer complaints and resolving any issue where necessary
- Adhere to the NHS policies and procedures, including NHS safety regulations and operational standards
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
