Warehouse/Storage Manager


As the warehouse Manager you will need to have a hands-on approach to the tasks and oversee the deliveries of items coming back from site or that have been sent into the company to be stored for the client, this will then be packaged, logged, and billed.

This role is multifaceted as it will require loading and unloading of vans, wrapping and stacking pallets, driving back and forward from the warehouse and main company site, booking assets onto Excel spreadsheets and then uploading them to the warehouse managementsoftware.

You will need great communication as you will be working with colleagues to obtain this information. This role will require a counterbalance forklift truck certificate and a Full UK driving licence.


Essential Criteria (Skills & Experience):

  • Forklift operator certificate
  • Full UK driving Licence.
  • Experience in warehouse and packaging goods.
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment.
  • Flexibility with taking on new roles.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel if required.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Great organisational skills
  • Great communicational skills

Core Knowledge Base:

  • Packaging of goods.
  • Worked as a warehouseman.
  • Use of WMS (Warehouse management systems)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft platforms

Core Areas of Responsibility:

  • Managing Storage
  • Keeping documents up to date
  • General housekeeping at the storage facility.

Main Duties:

  • Managing Storage
(booking items in and out)

  • To organise the WMS (Warehouse management systems)
  • To assist packing and logistics when needed

Special Requirements:

  • Flexibility in approach and willingness to work unsocial hours if required.
