Role and Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments with referred participants to gauge their readiness for employment and determine the level of support required.
Collaborate with participants to identify the most suitable training pathway, ensuring enrollment in appropriate courses.
Develop individualised Action Plans for each participant, regularly reviewing and updating them to include support options for progressing towards sustained employment.
Identify and address barriers such as household income, health and wellbeing, and caregiving responsibilities that may hinder progress towards employment.
Deliver intensive mentoring support for job search activities, tailored to the individual needs of participants through oneonone sessions or group settings.
Utilise various methods, including newspapers, online searches, and direct employer outreach, to conduct effective job searches employing diverse sales strategies.
Facilitate access to workshops covering topics such as health and wellbeing, interview skills, workplace etiquette, and cold calling techniques.
Provide assistance in preparing for work experience opportunities and involvement in communitybased programs.
Offer ongoing support to participants throughout their employment journey.
Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of all documentation within our database system.

Experience and Skills:

Understanding of the Employability and welfare sector
Prior experience working in a similar position such as am Employment coach or Advisor
Caseload management experience with targets or job starts
Ability to generate opportunities for individuals to progress in
