Do you have strong accountant experience, and are you seeking a new job in Stockport? Fintelligent is helping a collaborative company recruit a SME Accountant, and the role comes with excellent benefits and an attractive salary of £28,000.

As a SME Accountant, you will have a pivotal role in the business.

You will be responsible for acting as the middleman between client managers and the team, ensuring that various KPIs and SLAs are met as well as adding clear value to the client base.

In your first few weeks in this SME Accountant role, you can expect to:

Work as part of a team and report to managers and clients
Work on a diverse portfolio of clients, including small and mediumsized businesses
Prepare accounts from a variety of records, using different accounting software packages as required within a specified budget timescale
Assist with training junior members and offering advice
Help ensure the team hits SLAs

The role requires excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, and the ablity to prioritise workloads effectively

You'll also need:

Either AAT Qualified, ACCA part qualified
Minimum B in Mathematics GCSE
Good Xero or Sage experience
Excellent customer service skills
Confident and selfmotivated
