On behalf of a growing primary school on the outskirts of Peterborough, we are looking to appoint a lower KS2 teacher from January 2023.

This post will be a long-term temporary assignment, which could become permanent from September should you wish.

We are looking for a teacher to join the team who:

  • Has QTS
  • Has ability to plan for and support a range of year groups, but more specifically lower KS
  • Has ability to work successfully in partnership with parents and the wider community
  • Understands of appropriate strategies for managing pupils' behaviour and demonstrate high standards of behaviour management
  • Has ability to work well with others and work as part of a team
  • Has a childcentred approach and supports emotion coaching
  • Is creative with high expectations of behaviour and achievement
  • Will help children to develop a lifelong love of learning
  • Has a flexible approach and is a great team player
  • Is receptive to new ideas and approaches
  • Is willing to strive to be the best teacher they can be
