Hybrid London, Paris, Amsterdam, or remote UK / Central Europe
Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results
- Provide legal counsel on the spectrum of corporate matters, with primary emphasis on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts;
- Support large global sales organization in contracting, operational and compliance matters; manage legal negotiations with global customer personnel and/or their counsel;
- Support Company Procurement Department in the acquisition of goods and services, with particular focus on real estate, technology and intellectual property;
- Develop a thorough understanding of and familiarity with the Company's business, its people, markets, facilities, customers and competitors, in order to identify trends and formulate appropriate structures and strategies;
- Counsel business teams on other legal matters such as privacy, data protection, employment, litigation or other matters as instructed by General Counsel; and
- Establish a strong rapport and working relationship with business units to help drive the delivery of effective and high quality legal services appropriately linked to the Company's business objectives.
Job Competencies:
- Ability to provide practical legal advice to business personnel at all levels of an organization;
- Strong working knowledge of corporate, contracting laws;
- Experience working effectively with senior level management.

- Comfortable and confident in thinking independently and making his/her own decisions.
- Ability to quickly and accurately recognize areas of risk/opportunity;
- Excellent communication skills, both speaking and writing.

- Works well with both legal and business personnel.
This position requires the following knowledge and skills:
- At least five to eight years of legal experience.
- Law degree and admission to a British and/or continental European bar (crossqualified admission, common law and civil law, or experience in both jurisdictions, highly desired);
- Expertise in contract review, negotiation and drafting with a special skill in negotiating with client procurement teams.
- Combination of law firm and inhouse experience preferred;
- Excellent judgment and insight, attention to detail and ability to work independently;
- Ability to devise creative practical solutions to difficult legal/business issues;
- Ability to work well with and gain respect of business/project staff;
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- The ability to work in a fastpaced environment under tight deadlines.
- Time flexibility in delivering legal support to offices in different time zones;
- Selfmotivation and the ability to establish and execute on priorities; creativity, flexibility, and persistence as a problemsolver; and the ability to build consensus around internal initiatives;
- International legal experience a plus; and
- Experience writing, maintaining contract templates and curating contract databases a plus.
Travel is required on occasional basis.
