Leading Gluten Free Bakery (5 days a week Sat & Sun Off)

We're advertising a new opportunity with Manna Dew London as our Kitchen Assistant.

This role needs an active, detail oriented, highly efficient person that learns quickly. We operate a certified facility and all operations must follow our hygiene and production procedures.

There are a wide range of tasks, that span baking and cleaning. As Kitchen Assistant you will work on both.

For baking, you will be egg washing, baking, cutting, piping, packing, and preparing packaging.

Your colleagues will prepare and initiate the baking and teach you to oversee the ovens and understand how to check and remove baked items.

You must be highly attentive to products being baked, and have the ability of managing simultaneously running tasks.

As Kitchen Assistant you will also be the one in charge of cleaning, and managing the related stock for packaging and cleaning items.

You will be tasked with bringing in materials from storage, pot washing, and managing the cleaning chemicals. There are daily, weekly and monthly management documents that need to be filled out and handed to managment.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow his skills and become a baker or pastry chef. This role is a key development role for anyone aspiring to undestand the science of baking.

Salary:
£11.00-£13.50 per hour
